Title I
- Title I is a federally funded program which provides services to schools based on student economic needs.
- The goal is to provide a high-quality education for every child, so the program provides extra help to students who need it most.
- Continental Colony is identified as a Title I school as part of the Every Student Succeeds Act of 2017 (ESSA).
- Title I programs must be based on effective means of improving student achievement and include strategies to support parental involvement.
- All Title I schools must jointly develop with all parents a written parental involvement plan.
- 1% of CCES Title I budget is set aside for parent engagement. Attend our meetings to discuss how you want the money spent.
